[:en]To get an idea of what Enderman Hosting do and the direction they are moving as a company we asked them a series of questions. Here are the answers provided by the founder of the game hosting company when we asked them in early 2018:

When did you form your game hosting company and why?

Back in mid 2015, the two founders of the company got together and decided it was time we put our technical skills into a Minecraft focused hosting company. We recruited the help of another experienced technical person to run the support who had 3 years experience in running similar projects as a hobby and so Enderman Hosting was born.

What experience of game hosting did you have before you formed your GSP?

We had run another game hosting company before and sold it to a Canadian company in order to focus on other projects. It was this experience we gained from that company that we used to start it all over again but this time go one cut above.

What have been the most important lessons you have learnt during your time as a GSP?

People look for simplicity and want to get going as quickly as possible. After learning this we have ensured that everything has been designed to be as pain free as possible, as soon as we find a bottleneck in our processes we simplify it.

Where do you see your GSP in 3 years time? What does the future hold for your company?

The emerging markets in game hosting especially in the East are where the next set of customers lie. By overcoming the language barriers we hope to push further out that way and expand our customer base as well as our support and coverage of games.

What has been your main game? Have you maybe focused on one game and specialised in hosting it?

Minecraft has been our main focus over the last 3 years and will probably continue to be until it is replaced. The game has the amazing ability to evolve so it seems that it the modding of the game is keeping it alive, but this wont last forever. Titles like Eco seem to be giving Minecraft a run for its money and unless Microsoft release a second game its days are sadly numbered.

How do you handle support in difficult situations?

Luckily we have an amazing support team made of experienced staff who have years in the industry. We are continually watching for issues to arise through tickets or by monitoring the up-time of servers to catch issues before our customers do. By developing systems in house that monitor vital signs of life within our servers we can stay one step ahead of whats going on.

What Early Access or young games do you see taking off in the near future?

Eco is making a huge jump with massive growth possible for the Early Access game. The Fortnite, PUBG style titles are also drawing huge crowds worldwide with their fast paced game play. As soon as a developer releases a game like them that requires third party dedicated servers we could see that take off.

Has there been a situation where you have had to deal with a difficult request and how did you respond to it?

Early Access games bring a whole new range of problems that can crop up without warning. These games are known to change drastically and with customers seeking answers from us, the pressure can really be on. We try our best to communicate with our customers during times of problems and work together on a solution.

Do you sponsor any Twitch/YouTube channels and if so would you like to give them a shout out?

No we do not sponsor anybody.

Do you offer your customers any free additional services or go further than your competition in any way?

Our support staff are available to help with mod installation. Once customers have their mods installed they are usually then ready to go and never need to speak to us again so we don’t mind. We are constantly evolving our control panel systems to make sure that customers can achieve all tasks that need to be done themselves without having to wait for support staff to answer them.[:]
