Mordhau is an upcoming game from the developers over at Triternion and is currently being developed for the PC, but has yet to see release, as the game is set to be released for March, 2018. Mordhau is designed to be an upcoming multiplayer, medieval fighting game that’s going to focus on melee combat, similar to how Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was back in the day. In 1-vs-1 battles you can draw your sword to test who in the realm is the best swordsman in the land against complete strangers online or with friends.
From a visual standpoint, the game transports the player back into the medieval ages where steel was the only contender. The world is bright, whilst still being full of nature and the overall environments will leave you looking towards the landscape with awe; at least before someone new challenges you to a duel.
Mordhau is all about the customisable experience, which allows the player to modify a wide array of different stats, statistics, and other categories that create the perfect experience and playstyle for you and you alone, something the developers are particularly proud of. After all, the game is all about combat and expressing yourself through your very own flair and fighting style, allowing for unique tactics and strategies with every new round you play in the game, and that’s what makes Mordhau look and feel so encapsulating.

Are you looking for more medieval based online multiplayer games like Mordhau?
It seems that Mordhau was heavily influenced by the popular castles time warfare simulator Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. The 2 games share a lot of similar aspects but Mordhau is said to be a more personal experience than insane battles going on in an enclosed map.
The game has seemed to have started taking a bashing from the community recently. People appear to have fallen out of love with the game due to hackers and griefers making the veteran players life a misery.
A genre smashing hit with castles, crafting and hand to hand medieval combat is Reign of Kings. Before people flocked to Ark: survival Evolved a lot of craft and survive genre fans were glued to this game. With its huge catalogue of craft able item (even including a range of playable musical instruments) the game kept players entertained for months.
Reign of Kings seems to have turned really badly with the reviews sentiment as seen on Steam. The developers appear to have abandoned the game and moved onto something else which is probably for the best as its starting to age quickly and didn’t really move with the times.
