FiveM is less of a game and more of an incredible mod for the ever-so popular open-world sandbox, Grand Theft Auto 5. This mod has been developed by the CitizenFX Collective. By installing the mod, there’s a number of useful additions that make playing your ideal multiplayer setting on dedicated servers that much easier, something not many – if any at all – can say is the case.
FiveM allows servers to use not only custom cars, but maps, weapons, and so much more. On top of this, there’s the inclusion of AI to keep the city flowing and bustling from the very start, meaning you’re never quite alone on the server, just the way it should. To prevent any issues between the original version of GTA: Online, you can easily switch between the 2 without ever having to worry about getting in to trouble for just playing the game how you’d prefer.
Similar to how GTA: Online works, the network connection is an improved version of GTA: Online’s original one, meaning that you don’t have to worry about lag in the slightest when you pick up that newly installed weapon and watch it cause mass destruction, all like you’ve never seen before. As a result of this, it makes playing with friends that much easier; creating the ample custom experience for GTA: Online.
Once you have purchased, downloaded and installed the official Grand Theft Auto 5 game you must then:
Probably the most similar game that we have on CompareGameHosting to FiveM is Just Cause 2. In the Just Cause series of games you can expect a much more action packed unrealistic experience than the Grand Theft Auto franchise of games with a more cartoon’y feel. Its usually down to the player to decide which is better for them as both games have their own merits.
The reviews for Just Cause 2 are amazing good. A lot of players are explaining how you should buy the game and experience the awesomeness that they have with the title.
Some important bug fixes as well as some abandoned fixes that ended up causing more issues than they fixed. Added custom ports for the localhost dedicated server being run locally on your machine.
