Additional Arma 3 Information
If you have already played the rest of the ARMA series then you will already be well aware of what to expect with ARMA 3 and the latest installment from Bohemia Interactive Games, however many ventures have been surprised at just how much more advanced new game is compared to the others and coming to grips with all the new controls and tech can sometimes be very taxing for both new and old players so get ready to put some hours into some very experimental first few steps. At first many players felt very unsure on what to do as the game had very few tutorials when it was first released so it was often a case of trial an error in order to workout all the different positions, keys and hotkeys in order to be ready for just about anything on the battlefield.
ARMA 3 really shines when you take the game online and you are able to play on servers as large as 100 vs 100 however there are no caps on the size of a server so you may end up finding a game with in more players, creating the ultimate war zone for you and your friends to jump into. However many players like this game for much more than the Vanilla experience and prefer to play on one of the many mods that have been released over the last few years including EXILE, Altis Life, Epoch and Virus Mod which is just to name a few. All of these mods add a new experience to an already excellent game including a zombie apocalypse, a island full of criminals and city in which you can live out the life of the people of Altis as either a good citizen or a criminal the choice is yours to make.
Overall Arma 3 and the serious in general is a very complex but rewarding experience that a lot of players will spend multiple hours playing both on their own and with friends. Though the initial setup can be slow and getting to learn the controls for new players can often be a test of time the game does really reward the people that continue to push through the hard times and learn the ropes. Players have often described the game as a dark tunnel with a light at the end of it, which is definitely worth working towards for the vast amount of quality game play you will get out of this title.
